HBO will look back on the creation of SpaceX and the successful mission of May 30, 2020.
HBO is developing a six-episode mini-series about Elon Musk and his company SpaceX.
Tesla, SpaceX, The Boring Company, Neuralink… He is on practically all fronts. The engineer and entrepreneur turned billionaire never really knew how to stop.
For several years now, he has embarked on a new gigantic project: SpaceX.
The creation of SpaceX will be at the heart of an HBO mini-series and will include six episodes.
It will be based on the billionaire’s biography written by Ashlee Vance, Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future.

In addition, the series should show how he created SpaceX in 2002, up to the famous mission of May 30, 2020. Indeed, on that day, the Falcon 9 rocket carried two astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS).
In the script, we will find Doug Jung (Star Trek Beyond, Mindhunter…) and in the production, a certain Channing Tatum.
For the moment, no casting has been revealed yet. But some are beginning to whisper that Channing Tatum could play the whimsical Elon Musk.
Of course, nothing has been confirmed in that sense. The series is scheduled to be released at the end of 2021, or even 2022, at the latest.
