A USPS Miami employee is facing federal charges after admitting to investigators that for the past two years, she stole mail, including gift cards and mail-in ballots.
MIAMI — A USPS Miami staff member ‘Crystal Nicole Myrie’ is encountering federal costs after admitting to private investigators that for the past 2 years, she swiped mail, including gift cards and mail-in ballots, according to CBS.
Crystal Nicole Myrie admitted to investigators that she has been taking mail occasionally for the past 2 years.
Investigators claimed they located 150 items of mail in her automobile.
The likely cause affidavit says that Myrie was spoken with on October 16, 2020, at the Normandy Branch Post Office, in USPS Miami, relating to a mail theft
examination.

The record indicates that a benefits membership account had by Myrie was related to a present card that was reported stolen from the USPS Miami.
Authorities say Myrie admitted to stealing several pre paid debit cards that were
meant to be supplied to a customer on her route.
After Myrie’s meeting, she was accompanied to her car as well as an investigator observed a number of post office pouches including white envelopes in the rear of Myrie’s individual automobile.
