Halton Police are searching for an inmate that they say was released by mistake from Maplehurst Correctional Complex in Milton

Halton Police say that they were advised by staff in roughly 1-1 p.m. Monday a captive was released in mistake. He’s described as an East Indian man, standing 5-foot-10 using a slender build. Aujla weighs approximately 170-pounds and it has black, black shoulder-length hair and a beard.

Police state the inmate was seen departing the correctional complex in your foot, wearing a dark Tommy Hilfiger tracksuit with a sizable Tommy Hilfiger emblem published in the exact middle of the torso. Aujla was carrying a black backpack.
