Zion Williamson weight loss New Orleans Pelicans young talent made an NBA debut almost as good as Michael Jordan.
The end of the season for Zion Williamson has been complicated. The New Orleans Pelicans were one of the huge disappointments of the Disney bubble. And limited in his playing time due to a truncated preparation, the young prodigy could not hide his frustration. However, it should not be forgotten that he made an exceptional debut in the NBA. In his first season, the rookie averaged 22.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists over 24 games (in less than 28 minutes on average). That’s strong, very strong. Over the entire year, Williamson, with such performances, would have deserved the title of ROY. But because of his physical problems, the former Duke player played little. And the leader of the Memphis Grizzlies Ja Morant therefore fully deserves this award.
Still, Williamson was a phenomenon. And to get a better idea of his performance, here’s a statistic: out of his first 24 NBA games, Zion does almost as well as Michael Jordan! Indeed, the Chicago Bulls legend had scored an average of 24.8 points. The Pelican prodigy scored 22.5 points in his first 24 games in the NBA. This is still a good signal for the future of Zion Williamson. It’s up to him to continue on this voice to continue his progression.
