On June 2, Activision announced the postponement of Season 4 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone to a later date. Tonight, Infinity Ward announced that the launch of this new season will take place tomorrow.
It was via a simple tweet that the development studio announced the news. Thus, season 4 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone will be launched on June 10th at 11 PM. The developers do not say more about the content of this new season, but Ashton Williams, head of communications, spoke about the weight of the game.
Currently, Modern Warfare and Warzone occupy 190GB of hard drive space, which is a problem for many players. Starting tomorrow, the total size of the games will be reduced, as a number of assets will be compressed to free up space. On the players’ side, this will result in massive downloads, but it will also mean less space on the hard drive.
